Our Harissa Hussy blend is as bold as the original from Tunisia (a smoky peppery paste commonly used in North African and Middle Eastern cooking). This fiery peppery blend brings together the earthy notes of cumin, caraway and coriander, the smoky and savory notes of paprika and garlic, and the slow fiery burn of a quad of chili peppers.

To Use:

  • Mix 1 Tbsp of Harissa Hussy with 1 Tbsp of oil, yogurt, or lemon juice to use as a paste or a quick marinade for chicken, lamb, and steak.

  • Add 1 Tbsp of Harissa Hussy to 2 Tbsp crushed fresh garlic, 1 Tbsp crushed fresh ginger, 1 Tbsp of lemon juice and 1 Tbsp olive oil to 1lb of meat or chicken for an overnight marinade. Grill your meat for an extra charred flavor which enhances the smokiness of this mix.
